FEATURE TWIRLER

The Feature Twirler in the USA Marching Band is chosen to not only add visual excitement to our field shows, but also to serve as an official representative of the band and the University. The Feature Twirler serves as an ambassador at University and off-campus activities, and is expected to uphold the image and values put forth by our institution and its mission statement. This position is rewarded with a full, in-state tuition scholarship.

AUDITIONS
Finalists for the feature twirler position will be selected from a nationwide search conducted via video and resumé submissions. All videos and applications are due postmarked by Friday, November 19, 2009. Submissions should be mailed to:

After reviewing all submissions, select finalists will be notified and invited to the University of South Alabama campus for a live audition. In any given year, the USA Marching Band reserves the right to select no finalists and/or no feature twirler if no applicant is deemed an appropriate candidate.
